I've always supported my husband Robert’s vision for counseling and starting a private practice ten-plus years ago. As a veteran journalist, I have over ten years of experience working in media as a television news reporter, producer, and educator. I am an alumna of the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, where I received my BS in Broadcast Journalism. I went on to earn my MA in Public Affairs Reporting at the University of Illinois Springfield. Some of my most fulfilling experiences have been working with youth as the lead broadcast journalism teacher for a CPS high school and as a program manager for youth media programs at a non-profit organization.
